Annual General Meetings

UPDATE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023

The Annual General Meeting is held at The Crown & Crossed Swords on the last Saturday of February at 19:30pm

On behalf of the committee I’d like to thank all of the members that turned up to the Association’s Annual General Meeting.

For those that were not able to attend. The Association is in a good financial position with a healthy waiting list.

Catch returns for the 2022 Season show the river is in good health but suffering from the occasional pollution incident. It’s critical for the future of the association that any signs of pollution are reported to Club Officials at first possible opportunity

No change in permit prices

£60 Senior Ticket

£21 Junior Ticket 16 to 18 years of age

Junior Membership is FREE for under 15 year olds.

Permits must be collected from Hamsterley Colliery Post Office, so members are covered by the Associations Insurance.

No change in fish stocking

Licences for the 2023 season will be available for collection from the 5th March at Hamsterley Colliery Post Office .

Congratulations to the winners of the heaviest fish of the season Junior Member Eleanor Walker & Senior Member Matthew Edger.

Both receive a free permit for this season.
