Membership

Application for membership is currently open to anyone, with a limit on members to 250 seniors. For all new membership enquiries, please contact the club’s membership secretary, Ian Colborne, at daa.membershipsec@googlemail.com

The cost for membership is currently £60 for seniors and £21 for juniors. All prospective members should get in touch with Ian Colborne. Club members wishing to renew their membership for the coming season may pick up their new permits at the Post Office at Hamsterley Colliery from around 1 week before the start of the season. (during Post Office opening hours only).

Day tickets cost £8 and are available from Hamsterley Post Office, Allensford Caravan Park Shop, Rod & Tackle Ltd, Cramlington, Ebchester Village Store and Derwent Valley Sales.

 

The season runs from 22nd March to 30th September for brown trout. The Grayling season runs from 16th June to 31st January.

Don’t forget: you must have an Environment Agency rod licence before you fish. You can buy your rod licence online directly from the EA, or from any Post Office.
